We finally finished the new llama enclosure! It was so amazing that a wandering horse stopped in and decided to stay. The girls (especially the three in the photo, thanks girls!)now walk the llamas every day, handle them and hang out with them. I would be remiss not to mention the shoveling of the feces. The girls have told me that it is a real joy. I had a vision of a llama-program at Cedar Ridge where kids walked llamas around campus, interacted and learned with the friendly quadrapeds. It warmed my heart to see all the 'llama group' time spent finally reaping the rewards! The kids from the group (last year) are teaching other students how to handle and care for the llamas. So cool. I just found some shears in the Aspen home... stay tuned for llama-shearing action.

Seeing is believing! The kids and I were converting an old chicken shack into a llama shade... when we noticed something amazing... a Llama-riding Goat! This little guy would hop on Chieftan (while Chieftan was sitting) and then go for a ride. So glad I had my camera with me!
We had a good time deconstructing the shed, it was a totally volunteer project and many of the students commented on how cool it can be to use tools and do some real work!

We had this day pretty much wide open since Rob and Christine had to go to Referee training most of the day. So with no schedule and only myself and Dylan to staff the day we took on Boulder, Colorado.
Kiss and Ride?? What is with Boulder?
Lots of friend pictures.
The gentleman in the background is not with us but was probably wondering about us.
These next few photos were at the TJ Max Store at Flat Irons. The girls played dress up and walked the cat-walk. Me and the boys just stayed out of the way.
Miss Dylan perfecting the NG and SG look.
We stopped by the Pet Smart and played with the kittens.
Shots at the theater. We spent 15 minutes talking about watching a movie and then passed on it.
Trekking around town.
This is one of my favorite pictures. One--because it shows me wearing my Jazz jersey in Boulder the day the Jazz knocked the Nuggets out of the playoffs. Two--I made a fantastic joke about some needed work project in Boulder. Students didn't really think my joke was funny, but I thought it was hilarious...
